Ooni Detroit-Style Pizza Dough Mix (25.8 oz)
Each dough mix makes 4 x small Detroit dough balls or 2 x large Detroit dough balls.
Try your hand at pan pizza with this Motor City classic, right from the comfort of your own kitchen! The bread-like crust of this crispy, light-as-air pizza gets a major textural boost from crunchy, caramelized cheese edges (frico, to those in the know).
According to legend, the square shape of this Sicilian-inspired pie comes from the steel pans borrowed from a Detroit automotive factory in the 1940s. This custom, ready-to-use dough mix was formulated in-house by Ooni’s very own culinary advisor, especially for use with Ooni ovens.
A bit of water and oil are all you need to add, then just mix up, proof and stretch Detroit-style pan pizzas in as little as 3 hours.
For the full experience, top your Detroit pie with Wisconsin brick cheese (if you can find it) and the iconic, saucy post-bake racing stripes.
