The Class III, 5,000 lb. Standard Mount Starter Kit has the towing essentials to get you started hauling and on the road. It includes a 2 in. ball, a 5/8 in. standard pin, and a 2 in. Drop x 3/4 in. Rise Ball Mount. The ball mount is ideal for towing trailers and is used with full-size pickup trucks, SUVs, flatbeds and other commercial vehicles. The trailer hitch ball mount’s hollow steel design provides the ultimate strength and can be used in either the drop or rise position for towing applications depending on your requirement. Make sure to know the total weight of the trailer (GTW) you are towing and the maximum towing capacity determined by your vehicle manufacturer to select the correct Class. Made of durable, heavy-duty steel construction with a black powder coat finish that is corrosion-resistant to withstand extreme weather.
